A desire to tell stories is what propels our writer.
Ibukun - a Yoruba Queen in her own right - is a young creator with a desire to bring the stories of those often pushed to the side to the forefront.
Give Me A Second was born out of a need to take a beat, a breath, and pause - for just a second.
Realising she hadn’t done that in a while, this site became a physical (well not literally) place for her to stop and take stock of what she’s done, what’s she’s doing and what she plans to do.
